Home Room - #625 - Mr. V

The only class i was late to was my class with Mr. V. Of course nothing really happens in homeroom, but he reminded me a lot of the Scarcrow from Batman Begins with a much better sense of humor. His head was dark and slick with not a hair out of place, glasses, and a dark blue suit which struck me as very odd for some reason. Probably because it made him look like he sold cars for a living.

Oops.

There were a lot of familar people but only two were notable; Napoleon (not much of a surprise) and Chelsea. So Mr. V gives us the usual speeches and walkthroughs of the student code of conduct after our new principle has completely humiliated himself on the television by wearing a bug rug on his head, then he releases us to our own devices before the bell rings about 5 minutes later.

Fashion Production - 300 - Mrs. Lawrence

Since i had gotten cold on my way to my first period class i slipped on my Jack sweat shirt, which i later kicked myself for. The other girls, mostly Juniors and Seniors, looked at me like i was the missing link, two heads and all. Thankfully the seats were assigned so i didn't get the chance to alienate myself in the corner, but it did get better. i became interested once Mrs. Lawrence started explaining what we would be working on and even had examples that she passes around to us.

The girl sitting at my table beside me seemed thoroughly amused by my reaction at each of the different items, which i wasn't sure was a bad thing or not.

i don't know anyone in this particular class, and i'm there for two periods, but its deffinately going to be... interesting. i'll be sure to keep you gals updated.

Business Systems & Technology 1 - 925 - Mrs. Gernert

Let me start off by saying this class was a breath of fresh air. i might actually have a chance of passing this with an A. As it was explained, this class teaches all the basics of Word, Power Point, and the like, plus typing with minimal errors in a shorter time. What is Sarah really not terribly bad at?

Hallelujah.

Lauren's in my class (the only time i see her) and a Freshman named Daniel who lives in my neighborhood, and i'm pretty sure the rest were Freshies to... Hmmm.

World History - P04 - Mr. Allan

Oh. My. God. Thisclassisgoingtokillme.

Our teacher Mr. Allan needs to go back to the loony bin where he belongs. He's an older gentle men who, i've been warned, can go on forever about nothing. His testers are also hard, which could be my down fall if i'm not careful. its also my only class in the portables, right at my lunch period, with Maggie, Edwards, Andrea, and a bunch of other random people i know from laster year.

And the only class that i was given homework in.

This is going to be another one i'm sure i'll have a lot to talk about at the end of the day XD

Learning Strategies - 950 - Mrs. Brook

After running up and down stairs all day, i'm finally in the home stretch- both of my last period classes are on the second floor, starting with Learning Strategies. its always been a very mixed class, its not to uncommon to have Upper Classmen, but the ones from this year are a little more... odd. i can already tell that none of them want to be there, two girls inparticular, and they are very inpaitent with the Freshman.

i don't like them that much either, but we're all here for a reason, so what makes you so speciel that your any better than the rest of us?

Went by surprisingly quick with all new faces, even the teacher. The only two i know are a kid from my English class last year whose name i don't even remember and a Freshman named Christina. i think. Don't know, dn't really care.

English II - 865 - Mrs. Borgmeyer

Speaking of English i've taken a liking to my English teacher Mrs. Borgmeyer; she's not to much of one kind of person in particular so she doesn't play favorites, and she has enough energy to keep the class awake. She's also big on us knowing who our classmates are, which would be great if anyone other than me wanted to get to know each other. So after looking around the room i took Amanda up on her offer to be my interview partner, i'd always like to know more about my wife anyway.

At the end of the day is when i see the most people i can actually talk to; Amanda, Christina, and Eric. A few more friendly faces, but not enough worth mentioning.

Shame i didn't read my Summer Reading Book. i would have liked that credit to start the year.

Oh well.

Other Notes:

Not to much else happened that would be noteworthy. My locker is no where near any of my classes on the second floor, i have B lunch, and i'm going to be in great shape by second semester. As far as i know Kauany, Heather, Maggie, Jessica, Andrea, Katie, Cake, Stephanie, Kevin, and Anthony are the only ones that i have lunch with, but i was a little to preoccupied to actually go around and look for people. The bus ride home was awful, at least three people to a seat.

i'd show you all pictures, but my email is being funky. So in the mean time...
