In commemoration of the first real post in a week or whatever (For those slow of mental capabilities, that would be Megan's post) I have decided that I will procrastinate on my homework and write yet another post!!! (Me:Oh don't roll your eyes, you know you love reading what I have to say!! Audience: Not really... Me:.... You're right...-_-')Anyways!!!!
School....Is the suck. Yes, I know many of you must be thinking "Well thank you Captain Obvious!!" (which by the way is a shirt that Hot Topic has in stock which I would love to get my hands on) but.... that was something that needs to be stated and will be stated for generations to come.(It'd be interesting to see what future generations' lingo for the word suck would be. School is the pernicaliablelian?? XD) Maybe if it's said enough times, some of the higher ups will decide "Hey, you know what, maybe if our children find academics to be so boring, then we should have a massive overhaul in the way that we teach and part of the teaching curriculum should include dancing chimps with signs on [insert subject matter here]!". Of course, Congress is way too preoccupied with other extremely important duties such as opening tea pot museums in one of the Carolinas or building a bridge to link some of the islands that make up Alaska, because you know so many people live near the Arctic circle that it is absolutely necessary to have bridges.... Oy vey, people just amaze me everyday....(Or amuse. Really, which ever way the wind happens to be blowing that day...)
I have been giving this some thought for a while now, and isn't it odd that the word "carnival" can form the word "carnal" when you take the -i and the -v away? We were doing this one essay in class in which involved carnivals and what not (it may sound fun, but trust me, it's not) and I thought it was interesting how the opposing side who abhored carnival (aka the pious) were the same people who strongly encourages you to not fall to the desires of the flesh, and guess what carnal means?
carnal –adjective 1.pertaining to or characterized by the flesh or the body, its passions and appetites; sensual

So it makes me wonder.... Was the word carnival an accidental corruption of the word carnal by some far off and ditzy people that somehow caught on, or was it completely intentional? Maybe if I find someone who's knowledgeable in the field of etymology they'll be able to tell me, but those seem to be in short supplies these days....
In other news, my daddy's going to adopt me. Well, actually he's my step-dad, but he's much more of a father (and a man) than my biological father ever was or ever will be. My biological father is a sorry excuse of a human being; he was a liar, a womanizer, and shameless person whose selfish and childish acts often left those around him completely and utterly astounded, frustrated, and angry. I have never been able to forgive him for what he has done, and I have my doubts as to when I will, but the part that has always frustrated me was the fact that he wanted the hands-off approach to parenting, if you can even call it that. For one reasons unknown probably even to God, he wants to be in my life even though he doesn't care nor has he ever. I am ecstatic that once this whole adoption thing goes through I will never have to see him ever again, and he will be out of my life once and for all, never to be heard from.Or at least I hope not.
On a happier note, Jet and The Killers new album is coming out sometime this month. Le woot!!!! It's about time too. Jet released their last album about two years ago and The Killers kept regurgitating different versions of the same album over and over and over again. I mean I think The Killers are great and all, but come on. If you can release the same album with new songs on it, then I'm sure that you can release a brand new album. They have a new album now, so that's all that really matters. Now if only Metallica could come to our neck of the woods, I would be able to die a happy camper.... But that's not happening for a while, so I'm just gonna have to sit and wait and maybe go to Warped until then. And if it turns out that I have to go somewhere else when Frizzie invites me to go next year again.... Let's just say that heads are gonna roll.
I'm off to eat lunch before I forget to do so. Yesterday I forgot to eat dinner and fastforwarded to dessert.XD Sorry if the post was too long and bipolar...

<--Megan I know how much you LOVE them

The creature that I am is only going to destroy
Throw me to the wolves
Because there's order in the pack
Throw me to the sky
Because I know I'm coming back
